Signing in with authentik

First login, setting your own password, and finding your applications.

Updated 02 Sep 2026

Every service you are given access to sits behind a single sign-in: authentik. You sign in once and then reach every application enabled for you, without a separate password for each one.

First login

  1. Open auth.arbnor.me.
  2. Sign in with the username and the initial password I gave you.
  3. Set your own password straight away. The initial password is meant for the first login only.

If signing in fails, first check that you are actually on auth.arbnor.me and not on one of the application addresses — the login always runs through authentik.

Keeping your password safe

Use a password manager rather than a sticky note. If you do not have one, you are welcome to use Vaultwarden; let me know and I will set up an account for you.

A good password is above all a long password. Four or five random words beat eight characters with special symbols.

Opening applications

After signing in you land on your overview. It lists exactly what has been enabled for you — for most people that is the private cloud at cloud.arbnor.me.

You can also go to an application directly. If you are not signed in yet, it will send you to authentik and back again afterwards.

Signing out

On shared devices, sign out through the user menu in the top right. Closing the browser window alone does not reliably end the session.

When something does not work

Whether a problem is on your side or mine is visible at uptime.arbnor.me. If everything there is green and it still fails, drop me a line.
